Pin your Ideal Saveology DEAL Wish List Contest

It’s no surprise that we have an obsession with the image-driven, web-crazy social media platform, Pinterest – we’ve created several pinboards that boast our rumor-spreading deals, fashion and beauty tips, sweet vacation spots and anything else we deem amazing. But where would we be without our savvy savers? This is where YOU come in.

We want to see which deals make you smile by sharing with us your favorite Saveology Deals, Saveology Destinations and all around favorites from the web. But it doesn’t stop there. One lucky pinner will win the grand prize of $500, and two runner ups will each receive a Saveology goodie bag loaded with a $25 iTunes gift card, $25 Saveology dollars and other fantastic Saveology swag.

WHAT TO DO

  • Be sure to follow Saveology on Pinterest
  • Create a new Pinboard titled My Ideal Saveology Deal Wish List.
  • Fill the board with at least 10 pins (feel free to add more!). Of those 10 pins, at least 1 pin must be a Saveology Deal that you like and 1 pin must be a favorite Saveology Destination. Other pins should be of people, places and things that you wish we had deals on. Get creative!
  • All pins must be captioned with a tagline as if it were an actual deal on our site. Check out some live Saveology DEALS for tagline inspiration
  • All pins must be hashtagged with #Saveology and #Wishlist
  • Once your Saveology WishList Pinboard is complete, enter the contest by posting a link to it in the comments section of our contest announcement on Pinterest.

Make sure to forward to a friend so they’ll get involved; Grand Prize eligibility requires at least 250 entries!

Our panel of Saveology judges will be looking at every pinboard entry and judge them based on creativity, originality, adherence to the contest rules and have a general sense of utilizing Pinterest to showcase their Saveology Wish List. One (1) grand prize winner will receive $500 to make their wishlist come true, and two (2) runner ups will each receive a Saveology goodie bag loaded with a $25 iTunes gift card, $25 Saveology dollars, Saveology t-shirts and other Saveology swag.

The contest launches on Monday, April 2, 2012 and will run through 6 p.m. EST Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

        I have tried in Chrome, Explorer and Firefox :( The error always says “We were unable to post your message. Please try again later. (cl1)”

          Hi Stacy,

          It sounds like an issue with Pinterest and not with our contest. Unfortunately, we have no control over the platform. Give it a shot later today, though. It should post since Pinterest doesn’t always have these types of issues.
